SCRANTON PRESENTATION VIDEO NOW ONLINE!

The video of my presentation Architect E. G. W. Dietrich, From Steel City to the Electric City on October 21, 2023 at the Albright Memorial Library in Scranton, PA is now online! The presentation gives an overview of Dietrich's life and career as well as focusing on his more than twenty designs for homes in Scranton and the surrounding area.

A special feature presents the nine train stations Dietrich designed for the New York, Ontario, and Western Railroad's Scranton Division. It was my great pleasure to visit these beautiful homes, meet the wonderful home owners, and share my research with the Scranton community. Thank you to the Albright Memorial Library and the Lackawanna Historical Society for hosting this event.

If you missed my interview on NPR/WVIA's ArtScene with host Erika Funke, you can listen online. We had a wonderful conversation discussing the origins of my interest in design and architecture, my discovery of architect E. G. W. Dietrich, and his design philosophy that connects his different projects and styles. CLICK HERE TO LISTEN
